Alternative Schedules

If you are unable to follow an every-other-day workout schedule, the following table provides alternative schedules for 8 and 16-day cycles:

Alternative A
2 days ON 2 days OFF 2 days ON 2 days OFF
Alternative B
1 day ON 2 days OFF 2 days ON 2 days OFF 2 days ON 2 days OFF 2 days ON 1 day OFF

You can repeat either of these schedules as many times to match your program's duration. Some people choose to not workout on Sundays. When beginning Alternative B on Monday, Sundays are days off.

You can create any schedule as long as you get either 4-days off in an 8-day period or 8-days off in a 16-day period without working out more than two times in any 4-day period.
