It cannibalizes muscle, which is perceived as a threat to life. If you keep doing that you'll die, so the body has to stop the process. It does that by slowing you down, called a metabolic slow down, which we call being tired. That is triggers the body to get ready for the perceived famine by making fat.
How does it do that?
1. It turns down the pilot light to use less fat.
2. It produces less of the chemicals that transport and convert fuel to be used in the brain, nerves, or muscles. It now produces new chemicals that are designed to transport the fuel into the fat.
3. It changes the brain chemistry, producing chemicals that causes you to crave sweet, fatty, salty foods, or even alcohol. What better way to make even more fat to get ready for the perceived famine?
4. It even changes the taste buds so those types of foods taste better!
Think about it! This is a very powerful survival tool that has turned out to the plague of our generation! Fat is not bad stuff! Most of the medical problems |

associated with excess fat are caused by what causes the fat. So there are many good reasons to lose the fat, but the methods used in the last few generations are causing fat and health problems, not curing it.
So what's the answer?
Eat all the lean protein and complex carbohydrates that your individual body needs. The only way you can tell how much you need is with the Lean Food Program, which is part of the Living Lean program. Get started and get more information than ever before. Ask the questions you've always wanted to ask. Get motivated!
There are discounts for groups, and support from family and friends make it easier to develop new habits, so help others get started and reap the rewards!
Why should you do it?
Because you're worth it!
The only one who fails is the person who gives up.
Learn to have a healthy dissatisfaction with the status quo.
There is no failure except 'not trying' or quitting. |

Dieting is starving, which causes the body to put on even more fat.
Remember the Living Lean Creed
There is no one in the world better than I am, and I am no better than anyone else. I am different, and in my difference I am unique, and in my uniqueness I am special.
I am LIVING LEAN, exercising and eating well to control the physical changes that take place inside me daily. If what I do is random, then the changes will be random, and probably not what I want.
I am LIVING LEAN because I love life and living, and I am worth it!
